Hi, there!
Gina, it sounds like you're planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation with a little one in tow. How exciting!
As a mom of three, a stroller is an absolute must-have for my family's Disney vacations. Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking, and those little legs tire easily! I always bring our double stroller because I like having it with us in the airports while we're traveling to and from Orlando. I also like having it on hand while we're traveling to and from the theme parks! At the end of a pixie-dusted day, my kiddos are so sleepy. They would really struggle if they needed to walk from the park exit to the bus stop, so thank goodness for that double stroller!
I'm pleased to tell you that strollers are permitted (and most welcome!) on the
Walt Disney World Resort buses. Please note that strollers must be folded and stowed out of the aisle. I usually keep my kids in our double stroller while we wait for a bus to arrive. When the bus pulls up, they hop out and I help them board the bus while my husband quickly folds and carries our stroller.
Prior to your arrival, be sure the stroller you plan on using meets the size guidelines.
Strollers must be no larger than 31" wide and 52" long in order to enter the theme parks.
The
Disney Parks Moms Panel has some great stroller tips. I hope you find them helpful!
Thanks for stopping by, Gina. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
