    Hi! Do you know how many std. rooms with a std. view are available to book at the Wilderness Lodge? I'm asking because they tell me that they're all booked for the week of Nov. 17th! I'm concerned because of the volume of people that might there!

    Hi Jeff!  Welcome to the Moms Panel. While it does appear that all of the Standard View rooms at Disney's Fort Wilderness Lodge are booked for the week of Nov. 17, 2013, they do have lots of availability in all of the other room categories.  Typically, the third week of November is a good time to visit with lower crowds, while the following week, Thanksgiving, will be extremely busy.  I would not be too concerned about the time you will be visiting being overly crowded.  I do not have a number of how many Standard View rooms they have, but I know they do have many in this category.  I also know that they are one of the most economical of the deluxe resort rooms to book, which could account for why there is no availability showing at this time.  You could always book the next category up, and then keep an eye to see if one of the Standard View rooms opens up due to a cancellation - this could happen at any time, but just prior to the 45 day final payment, you may see several cancellations pop up as people decide not to go.  

    It is still quite early in the year, and I think you could possible have some success securing one of those rooms if you are diligent in checking.  I wish you good luck and am throwing some pixie-dust your way in hopes that you are able to get it!  Let me know if I can assist you with any other questions you have.
