Do you know when out of state visitors will be able to visit Disneyland? Is see CA will be opening up June 15, will this change the only CA resident rule?

Greetings Gary, and welcome to planDisney!

As someone who had trips to both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World postponed due to the past year's public health situation, it sure feels like 2020 was conjured by the Disney Villains! Fortunately, our heroes are here to help bring some normalcy back to our lives, and there's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow waiting for us.

Like you, I reside outside of the Golden State, so I'll be waiting and watching for theme park reservations to be extended to Guests like us. We don't know a date for when this will happen, but in the meantime, I love watching Mickey Mouse's closest neighbors return to a land of magic! I've been following along on social media to experience the reopening from home.

The best sources for new information and announcements are the Disney Parks Blog and the Experience Updates page. When the time comes for us to plan our next visit to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, they'll be the first to break the good news, so stay tuned!

Gary, I wish I could offer a more exact timeframe, but I will wish upon a star that we have the opportunity to return to the Happiest Place on Earth soon. With the opening of the Avengers Campus next month, I certainly understand wanting to assemble your crew as soon as possible! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question, and when you're able to start planning your magical vacation, come see us again. We're all ears!

Meet the Panelist: Betsy, Maryland

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
