I know that the Star Wars dining is only over Star Wars weekend. We planned a trip in December of 2014. Since I imagine Star Wars dining is popular, have you heard if Disney plans on continuing this dining experience outside the Star Wars weekend? Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Joseph ~

I was beyond excited when Disney announced Star Wars Weekends character dining! This is an amazing addition to Star Wars Weekends.

As of now, Disney has not made any announcements to continue the Star Wars character dining experiences beyond Star Wars Weekends. However, we have seen some exciting new dining experiences announced recently including the IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party at Epcot, Epcot After Hours Wind Down and Harambe Nights at Animal Kingdom. So while nothing has been announced, you never know what magical experience Disney will announce next. These dining additions give me "A New Hope" for future announcements.

I would recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements. If you are on twitter, be sure to follow @DisneyParks and @WaltDisneyWorld. You can also keep your eyes on the official Walt Disney World Facebook page. I would love to see a Star Wars character dining experience available throughout the year. It would be a must do for us on every trip.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
