I know the Star Wars Diaper Dash is for children under 12 months and the 100m dash is for children 1-4 years old. On the day of the race my daughter will be 1 year and 2 days old. Which event can I pick? I just don’t know if she will be walking by then.

    Hi, there!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Madison. I'm so glad you stopped by!

It's super great that even your teeny-tiny Padawan can participate in the fun at Star Wars Rival Run Weekend. I totally understand why you're having a hard time deciding which event to register your daughter for. All three of my kids learned to walk at different ages, and I didn't accurately predict any of them. Ironically, my daughter just started walking at exactly 1-year and 2-days old! I think you should register your baby for the Star Wars Diaper Dash. She'll be under 12-months when you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, so she'll be considered as under 12-months old for the entirety of your stay. May the force be with her as she races!

If you have questions about strollers, Baby Care Centers, cribs, diaper bags, or any other baby-related item, please let me know. When it comes to traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort with a little one in tow, I have been there and done that!
