Hi! Do you know of any special parties, dinners, shows, or fireworks going on during new years eve 2020 at Disneyland or California Adventure? Or do the disney property hotels have anything going on?

Hiya, Kristen, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

There’s nothing better than spending the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort! I’m glad to hEAR you’re considering ringing in the New Year at the Happiest Place on Earth! Unfortunately, we don’t have any information about New Year’s Eve celebrations at the Disneyland Resort just yet, but I recommend staying tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for this information in the coming months. The Disney Parks Blog is the best place to find breaking Disneyland Resort news, so it’s definitely worth following.

I searched the Blog for New Year’s event information from last year, and saw a post from November 16, 2018. The post mentioned a top-notch celebration at Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, with the option of an early dinner extravaganza or a late dinner and dance party. The late-night dinner party even included the restaurant’s exclusive Sugar Piñatas, a party hat, and party favors for an epic dance floor countdown!

Back in 2016, New Year’s Eve was celebrated in a special way in Disney California Adventure Park, complete with bands, dance parties, entertaining shows, and DJs. You can usually count on Disneyland Park to celebrate in a big way with the New Year’s Eve “Fantasy in the Sky” Fireworks Spectacular

While we anxiously await the Holidays, there's so much to explore at Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort! I’m loving the spook-tacular decorations, delicious treats, and Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party! There are so many happy haunts materializing in the parks right now, and I hope you get a chance to experience them soon!

Wishing you pixie-dusted planning… feel free to stop by with any additional questions you may have!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
