    I know this sounds crazy, but is there anywhere in DW or DTD to buy prune juice? 18 month old baby MUST have it everyday. Staying @ PORiverside. Don't want to take taxi to buy groc. Know about garden grocer, but min. purchase is $40. Thank you!

    When we travel to Walt Disney World with specific dietary needs (especially when the kids were younger), to make our vacation as stress-free as possible, we ship such items to our own attention at the resort.

    For example, I'll get a copier paper-sized box and fill it with non-breakable containers of what I know we'll need...and can't risk not having once in Walt Disney World. Pick up the amount of prune juice you'll need during your stay (plus a little extra...just in case) and place that plus a couple of other items into whatever space you have in the box (Diapers, for example, or an extra sippy cup or two.) Mail that package to your own attention (I write "ATTN: _____________, Guest arriving on ___ / ___ / ___" just below the address on my packages) at the following address:

    Because this is such a significant necessity, I wouldn't risk trying to locate it at a restaurant which might happen to have run out of it that day.

    The cost of shipping should be less than the delivery fee of some grocery delivery services and you'll be sure to have exactly what you need. The box we had delivered during our stay at POR-Riverside last fall was waiting at the front desk for us at check-in. (Different resorts have different policies regarding packages, most often depending upon if there a Business Center at the resort. In those cases, you might have a small fee--$5, for instance--to pick up a package; at POR, however, this has not been the case.) If shipping U.S. Postal Service, ask your local post office how long it should take for your package to arrive in Orlando, then send it a week earlier that that, just in case. ;-)
