I know small children can ride rides with a parent, but if they are 1 does that still count? I’m worried she will be to small to ride anything.

Hi Chris! I'm so happy to hear that you are planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

One of the most wonderful things about each of the theme parks is that there is so much to do, no matter the age. And I have good news - that includes rides for all ages, as well! As a mom of two little ones, I have taken my kids since they were infants. My daughter's first trip was at 4-months old, and my son's first visit was at 6-months old. I will NEVER forget the awe on their faces as they rode each ride and met each character. They are memories I will always cherish!

As long as an attraction does not have a height requirement, your daughter will be able to ride with you. I have cruised "it's a small world," soared through Peter Pan's Flight, swam The Seas with Nemo & Friends, whirled in Toy Story Mania! and explored Kilimanjaro Safaris, all with an infant or toddler on my lap!

With exciting entertainment and friendly characters, you'll find there are a lot of things to capture your little one's attention. Make sure to have your camera ready, and take advantage of the PhotoPass photographers that are all over Walt Disney World Resort property! If you haven't already, check into purchasing Memory Maker prior to your trip. This service allows you to download all of those special photos from your trip, up to 45 days after they are taken. Trust me, you'll want to look back on those pictures for years to come!
