I know we can ship boxes of goodies to our Disney resort. Can we ship a box full of Disney goodies home from Disney?

    Hi there Heather,

This reminds me of the year my daughter went crazy at Animal Kingdom and won 5 giant monkeys from the carnival games and refused to leave them behind. Not to mention the fact that my hubby decided to buy a HUGE African drum to boot.  We had flown in from California with only carry on luggage and had no idea how we'd be getting this stuff home.  Well, to our surprise, the resort (Animal Kingdom Lodge) informed us that they were happy to arrange FedEx shipping for us.

While the resort gift shop had plenty of boxes for us to use, the tricky part was finding one large enough to fit our crazy stuff.  We ended up having to travel to a resort with conference centers to purchase a shipping box and then Animal Kingdom reception weighed it and labeled it, charged my card, and BABOOM. Monkeys and drum all arrived unscathed a few days later!

If you know you will want to ship items home, keep an eye out for a box ahead of time.  If it's a standard size, lol, the front desk or gift shop should be able to track one down for you fairly quickly!

    Best Wishes,
