Hi Lynette! Welcome back to planDisney. It's always nice to see you here!
When I met my husband, he was working as a first responder with a fire department, so I have a special place in my heart for this question. As a military spouse, I'm always so honored to have the opportunity to support our heroes with their Disney questions!
It's so neat to look at the collection of Fire Department patches from around the world at the Main Street, U.S.A Fire Station in
Magic Kingdom Park, and I think it's great that you want to send your town's patch to Mickey to add to their collection. I reached out to a Cast Member to see if they are currently accepting patches, and she recommended that you email
Guest Relations directly at Guest.Relations@DisneyWorld.com for the most up-to-date information. I know the firehouse was closed for some time during the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort and while they have reopened they may not have resumed all their operations. If you have a visit to Walt Disney World Resort coming up (and I hope you do), it couldn't hurt to bring the patch and stop by!
On your next visit to the
Main Street, U.S.A. Fire Station, be sure to check out their
pressed penny machine. The souvenir coin design is from 101 Dalmatians and too, too cute!
Thank you for bringing us this question, and thank the firefighter in your life for me. Your pals here at planDisney are here to help if you have any further questions - see you real soon!
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
