I know selfie sticks can’t be brought into the parks, can i use a stabilizer for my phone.

    Hi Karen!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I believe that making memories on our phone or camera while we are at Walt Disney World Resort should be mandatory!  All those magical moments are so precious, and need to be made, savoured and remembered for many many years to come.  I don't think I could visit a Disney park without taking a single photo, no matter how many times I've been there before, or photographed the same scene, and while Memory Maker can take care of all the lovely iconic locations within the parks, and on the rides and attractions, there is nothing like having your own photos.

Mobile phone stabilizers, or gimbals, are not on the list of prohibited theme park items, but your stabilizer should not be telescopic and it should fit inside your backpack or camera bag.   Just for clarity, the official guidelines for all prohibited items can be found here, and please remember that it is always down to the discretion of the security staff about what we may or may not bring into the parks with us.

Enjoy making more memories, and please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We are always happy to help!

    Sue
