Hi there, Vanessa! Thanks for swimming by with another great question. I'm thrilled to help you create unforgettable moments and priceless memories with Disney Cruise Line.
I can’t stop thinking about
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point! The soft pink sand, turquoise water, colorful pavilions, and delicious food – I could go on and on! I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time experiencing it all!
Once you debark at the tram stop, you'll likely find sand wheelchairs available at Guest Services, conveniently situated alongside beach-friendly strollers and wagons. During my recent visit, the island was still in the process of adding its finishing touches, but a Cast Member assured me that sand wheelchairs will be available at the Family Beach Tram Stop.
After collecting your towels and navigating to the wheelchairs, take a moment to explore The Gathering Tree; see how many characters you can spot while you're there! You’ll also discover QR codes on the island that you can scan to learn more about the native plants and animals. These interactive and educational touches truly showcase Disney's commitment to creating magical moments for everyone who visits.
Vanessa, just like at
Disney Castaway Cay, Disney Lookout Cay has paved pathways for easy navigation. The wooden decking is clearly marked if it’s wheelchair accessible, and the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app has a helpful map.
I have one more exciting update for you: you can now use your
DisneyBand+ to get on and off the ship at all Bahamian and Caribbean ports of call, including Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point! I loved the band's convenience. As usual, all Guests 18 years of age and older are still required to carry photo ID.
Wishing you smooth sailing and sunny skies! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to ensure your cruise is as wonderful as can be.
SEAS the adventure!
