    Do we know if they will be running the Star Wars dessert party in September. We are going for my 40th birthday and wants to try and schedule as a Thankyou To my husband for booking this trip for my birthday. For Monday 23rd

    Hi Kristin!

    From all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, happy early birthday! You are getting ready for a fantastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation and it will be even more special since you are celebrating your birthday during your trip.

    Dessert parties are the perfect way to make your day at Walt Disney World Resort extra-special and it would be a fantastic way to say 'thank you' to your husband. Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party is a really fun option because it mixes tasty treats with reserved viewing for Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular and Wonderful World of Animation.

    Currently, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party is scheduled through August 24. There are quite a few changes headed to Disney's Hollywood Studios over the next few weeks with the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge on August 29. We don't have any information about the future of this dessert party or other new special events Guests will be able to enjoy when they visit Disney's Hollywood Studios after the opening of this new land. So I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as your trip approaches for announcements about special events that you can enjoy during your vacation that would be good for your husband's 'thank you' surprise.

    One event that would be a fun for your family is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This is a special night in Magic Kingdom where you can enjoy all of the tricks and treats of Halloween while enjoying the theme park with a limited number of other Guests!
