I know rose and Crown is not open for lunch but could we still eat in the dining room For lunch if we get food from the quick service next-door?

Hey there, Ben! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for bringing us this delicious dining question.

While there is a lot of competition for “Best Restaurant at EPCOT,” I think Rose and Crown is a strong contender for the title. You might say it's one of the park’s…crown jewels (ba-dum-tss). The whole location is full of charm and warmth, so I can totally understand why you’d want to enjoy a meal there.

As you rightly pointed out in your question, the Rose and Crown Dining Room doesn’t open until 4 PM most days. I chatted with a helpful Cast Member and they confirmed that the dining room is not open to guests when the restaurant is not in operation. Luckily, there is another option! The Rose and Crown Pub—which is separate from the dining room—opens at 10:30 AM (times subject to change). You can bring food from Yorkshire County Fish Shop, conveniently located right next door, and enjoy it in the pub if seating is available.

If you have any questions about which seating areas are available at any given time, don’t hesitate to ask a Cast Member. They’re there to help!

Whether I’m enjoying the pub or dining room, I always try the pub blends at the Rose and Crown. I’m a big fan of the Golden Fox Imperial Pint, but on a hot day the Shandy Imperial Pint is the way to go. Honestly, I’m not sure you can go wrong with any of them.

Ben, enjoy your day in EPCOT! Pop right back to planDisney if you have any other questions about your upcoming trip.

    Cheers!
