Hi there, Ana! I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question! There's nothing like visiting
Walt Disney World Resort, so if I'm not planning my own trip, I am thrilled to have the privilege of helping others plan theirs!
While I am a huge fan of all Disney theme parks,
Disney's Hollywood Studios has my heart. I simply love walking through Andy's backyard as a toy in
Toy Story Land, as well as entering the world of Batuu in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. When it comes to
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, I typically choose the chicken exit, but my friend and fellow panelist,
Casey, loves this attraction. She recently answered a question about its closing
here.
As you noted, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, as we know it, will come to an end on March 2 of this year. You have the next two weeks to squeeze in one more high-speed limo ride before the
Muppets begin their takeover. I am a huge fan of The Electric Mayhem, so I am excited about the change.
Attending
Disney After Hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios - a special ticketed after-hours event that has lower crowds and fun treats - sounds like the best way to experience this magical park. Tickets are available for purchase for events through September, so you are likely seeing the omission of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster from the included attractions list because of this. I spoke to a friendly Cast Member who said they expect the attraction to be open for the February events, but these things are always subject to change, particularly as we approach the closing date.
Although Disney After Hours at Hollywood Studios begins at 9:30 pm, you can enter the park with your event ticket as early as 7 pm. My suggestion would be to head straight for Rock n' Roller Coaster to increase your chances of getting to experience it.
While you're in Hollywood Studios, I want to suggest you check out my favorite snack in all of Walt Disney World. It's the Bouncin' Mini Churros at
Ice Cold Hydraulics near the entrance to Galaxy's Edge and what was previously known as Muppet Courtyard. They are a savory version of churros topped with Coca-Cola and bourbon candied bacon, as well as a sriracha aioli. Yum! I could go for some right now!
I hope you get the opportunity to race through the streets of Hollywood one more time with Aerosmith, Ana. Enjoy your time at
The Most Magical Place on Earth, and please let us know if you have any more questions!
Always Dreaming -
Elizabeth
