Hi Erin,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this question to us!
It sounds like you have purchased a Disney Dining Plan. My family has done the
Disney Dining Plan and the
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. Both plans are excellent.
To determine which restaurants are table-service and which are quick-service, check the
dining list. Beside the name of each restaurant, you should see a notation indicating whether or not it is table-service or quick-service. When we are at a restaurant, I always double-check by asking.
If you have not done so already, be sure to make dining reservations. When making reservations, you can check to see how many dining plan credits each restaurant takes by clicking on the home page for the restaurant, then clicking on "Some Dining Plans Accepted." A pop-up box should come up which shows you how many meal entitlements are required if the restaurant accepts dining plans. You can also check menus. We love 50's Prime Time Café. The
lunch menu currently includes Aunt Liz's Golden Fried Chicken, one of my favorites!
Erin, I do have one final tip. Remember that your dining plan credits are calculated per night of stay. If you are on the Disney Dining Plan for a six-night stay, each guest 3-years old and over in your party will receive 12 meals (six quick-service and six table-service) plus 12 snacks. You can use them in the order you choose!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
