Hi Mom's! Do you know if some of the resorts will be doing their Halloween activities on Halloween again this year? Is it a given each year that some resorts will participate? Also, will Downtown Disney resume it's Happy Hauntings this year? Thanks!

Visiting Walt Disney World in October will be a treat for your whole family. For me, it begins the best time of the year to visit. Both the parks and resorts are decorated perfectly to get everyone in the best festive mood. It is a great addition to an already great trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. As for activities, the big one is always Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This fun filled night at theMagic Kingdom includes a special parade, fireworks and your favorite Disney characters dressed in their best Halloween costumes just waiting to take a picture with your family. We have a great one with Peter Pan and Captain Hook. As for activities in Downtown Disney, that event has been cancelled, although many of the restaurants and shops have special events and foods for the occasion. The best resort for Halloween is usually the Campsites at Fort Wilderness, which in the past has hosted Halloween activities actually Halloween day, such as crafts and games. I hope this assists you in making this the best vacation ever. Have a magical day.
