    I know that Resort mugs cannot be reactivated. But can you buy one ahead of time and activate it later using your Dining plan? (ie I want to buy a Special edition cup before they sell out and use it later during an upcoming stay) Thanks in advance!

    I hope you're getting excited for your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World Resort! I'm sure there's lot of magic awaiting you.

    I believe you're asking about the Resort refillable drink mugs that you can use at Quick Service Beverage Stations at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. The way Resort refillable drink mugs generally work is that you would purchase them in person at your Resort hotel. If you have purchased one of the Disney Dining Plans, the Resort refillable drink mugs are included. The refillable mugs would be activated when you get them for the duration of your stay. I'm sorry I don't have more promising information to share with you for your buy-now-use-later idea, but from what I know, the refillable mug must be activated when you get it.
