¡Hola Solange! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sending your question our way.
How exciting that you are planning a December vacation! I can't wait for you to experience the magic and splendor of
Walt Disney World during the holiday season. From the sparkling decorations to the seasonal treats, you're in for a very merry visit.
Speaking of treats, having a
Disney Dining Plan is one of my favorite ways to sample as many snacks as possible, and like you, my fellow panelists and I are anxiously awaiting its return. The good news is, if you book a vacation package now, you will be able to modify it in the future should Disney Dining Plans become available for your dates. If you are working with
a local travel agency that specializes in Disney, they will know exactly when and how to make this happen. If you prefer to be in charge your own booking, be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Dining: Know Before You Go information page for updates regarding Disney Dining Plans.
I have been fortunate to visit Walt Disney World several times during
the reopening period, and although everything doesn't look exactly how it has always been, I have enjoyed every stay and learned to make some adjustments to my usual travel patterns. If you are unable to purchase a Disney Dining Plan, I suggest purchasing
Disney Gift Cards in the amount you would normally spend on food as a way to pay in advance for meals. When I do this, I store the gift cards in my resort room safe and charge purchases to my
MagicBand. The day before I check out, I pay down my charges at the front desk of my resort with Disney Gift Cards.
As your vacation plans evolve and your magical visit approaches, please come see us again as more questions come up. I see that you will be journeying to us from Argentina. ¡Qué bueno! If you have any local friends or family that would prefer to talk about Disney en Español,
send them over to see our Spanish-speaking panelists. Thanks again for stopping by, and we'll see ya real soon!
