Hello! I would like to know how to make reservations at Fort Wilderness Campground. Does anyone know if there is a waiting list for campsites for RV's? We will be in WDW in Nov. 2011 (not at FWC, never stayed) but I'm thinking ahead for Aug. 2012 or 2013.

Our family just got back in November from Fort Wilderness, and we visit at least twice a year. But let me warn you, once you've camped at the fort, it's hard to camp at other parks. The comfort stations, not to mention the well-kept sites and activities, will spoil you!

It's funny that you should ask how to make reservations because whenever we try to make them online through Disney's website it's always full!  However when we call, no problem.... We have always called the main Disney room-only line (407-939-7429) to make our reservations.

You can make reservations up to 499 days ahead, so booking into 2012 is not out of the question!

Maybe we'll see you at the fort!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
