Do you know if I can rent a car in Tampa and then return it to the Car Care Center at Disney?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Risa! I adore the Car Care Center at Walt Disney World Resort. This full-service facility allows guests to rent, use, and return a car with ease. My friends and I had an effortless time this year returning our vehicle.

If you rent with Alamo Rent-A-Car or National Car Rental, you can both rent and return cars to this location. Guests frequently rent a car here or at the MCO airport, returning to both locations. I would advise you to use one of these companies in Tampa, and then mark Walt Disney World Resort’s Car Care Center as your return location. What’s best about this drop off is Disney’s Rental Car Shuttle Bus can take you a myriad of locations after you’ve returned your vehicle for no charge. My friend and I were dropped off at the nearby ESPN Wide World of Sports so we could register for our runDisney race and enjoy all the magic that pavilion has to offer.

If I can help you get around the Parks in style, please let me know. Disney has so many complimentary transportation options like the bus system, watercrafts, monorails and the upcoming Skyliner Gondola system. It’s going to be a breeze! ~ Lindsey P.
