Hi! Do you know if I rent a car and am staying in a WDW property, do I pay for parking in the parks?

    Hi Alison!

I've got some great news for you - because you'll be staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, you can park for free at the theme parks during your stay. Just make sure you keep your resort parking permit (the slip of paper you'll get at check-in) either on your dash or within close reach so you can show it to the parking attendants at each theme park.

That's an awesome perk of staying at one of the Walt Disney World resort hotels!

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

When I have a car with me at Walt Disney World, I like to spend some time visiting other resort hotels on property. Just show your resort parking permit to the security guard at each hotel's entrance (and sometimes they'll ask to see an ID as well) and they'll let you park for free in their lot.

If you're a shop-a-holic like me, this an awesome way to scope out unique souvenirs that you sometimes can't find in the theme parks or in Downtown Disney. Plus, it's just cool to browse the grounds and check out the other amazing resort hotels on property.

I hope that helps. If you should have any other questions, please feel free to send them my way and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
