Hi Jennifer!
Welcome to planDisney! In just a few more days, you’ll be
returning to a Land of magic, and its name is Disneyland Resort! Oh boy, I’ll bet you are counting down the days until you all can experience the Happiest Place on Earth.
As you make plans to travel to
Disneyland Resort with a preschooler, one of the keys is to make sure you have everything they need. That means packing all the travel-friendly items for little ones...even if it means you wish you could borrow that bottomless bag owned by Mary Poppins!
An umbrella stroller reminds me of Mary Poppins’ umbrella in a sense: extremely practical and a great means to get around. Ok, so your umbrella stroller won’t FLY like hers, but it can fly your toddler around
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park without your little one having to walk. By the way, this
link is a great resource on what attractions, rides, and Lands will grab their attention and keep them enthralled. I’d say that’s a “spoonful of sugar” right there!
You
can bring an umbrella stroller from home as long as it meets the
posted size guidelines. My experience is that an umbrella stroller will definitely be under the 31" x 52" maximum size dimensions, but I would measure it just to be sure. Sure, your tape measure won’t be quite the same as Mary’s measuring tape that indicates that she is “practically perfect in every way”, but it will get the job done!
As you get closer to finalizing your Disneyland plans, "step in time" back to planDisney with more questions. Jennifer, I'm wishing you a vacation that is positively "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"
