I know I have read that strollers cannot be taken into buildings in Disney World. Does this include quick service restaurants or shops? I'm would assume that strollers would be allowed to be driven in resorts (WL), please let me know if I'm wrong. Thanks!

Shaun, you basically are correct although there are exceptions to every rule.  Stroller parking is available outside all restaurants and attractions and you are asked to leave them in these areas.  Many families opt to leave strollers outside of the many Disney shops as well since they can be crowded and getting around inside with a stroller is hazardous to everyone's well being!

Resorts are much more wide open and you are welcome to stroll around them during your stay and visits.  Since strollers must be folded and secure for all bus trips many families keep them folded when they arrive at their resorts and just walk from there to their room.  This is why you might not always see as many in the resort areas.
