Hi I know I read for military discounts it's only active or retired with photo id but my question is would we be able to use his Veteran Id he's a disabled veteran and we are trying to figure out how to get our daughters there before school starts back

Hi, Amber!  The military discounts at Walt Disney World are really helpful to members of the military community and their families.  The offers have made travel way more possible for us on a number of occasions.

The military discounted ticket offer is extended to disabled veterans if they are considered by the military to be 100% disabled or permanently disabled.  You will see on the military identifcation card the initials DAVPRM to indicate this status.  If your husband's military identification card has those initials, then you qualilfy for the military offers.

Your husband will need to be there to purchase the passes.  There is a limit to the number of tickets each member of the military is eligible to purchase, however, with the recent extension of the program, the number of tickets you may purchase up utnil December 2015 is 12.

Fingers crossed that you figure out a way to get to Walt Disney World before school starts back up again.  I'm planning to do the same thing with my own girls!
