Hey, Jenifer!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A Disney Dining Plan is a great way to take the stress of cooking out of your vacation. Let's face it, Mickey and his team sure know how to cook, bake and send our taste buds and tummies on an adventure.
I am not sure if you are asking about a child on a Disney Dining Plan or a Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. I'll address both for you but either way a child will get dessert if they want it at lunch/dinner meals.
The
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan includes two (2) Quick-Service meals and one (1) snack per person, per night of your package stay for everyone in the party ages 3 and over, beginning after check-in to your Disney Resort hotel. There are no Table Service credits available with a Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. All other
Disney Dining Plans provide Table Service meal credits and follow the same food inclusions (see below) with one exception:Table Service meal credits allow for a buffet or Family-Style Meal.
Breakfast meals are different from Lunch/Dinner meals. With breakfast, you will be allowed an Entrée and Non-Alcoholic beverage. Lunch and Dinner provide you an Entrée, Dessert and Non-Alcoholic Beverage.
Disney Dad Tip: A neat trick with the dessert and non-alcoholic beverage is that some locations will allow you to substitute these items for any item that is an eligible snack at the location. Substitutions are not guaranteed so please check with the Cast Member when you order for your options.
Jenifer, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories.
Bon appetit!
