Hi! I know many questions have been asked about birthdays and free admission, but I didn't see one specifically about this. My son (turning 5) is a passholder. His birthday is on a blocked out day and I was wondering if he could get in on his birthday.

    Hello Juliet!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week!

Unfortunately, Disneyland Resort does not offer free admission for birthdays any longer. Since your son’s birthday falls on a blackout day as part of his Annual Passport, you will need to purchase a valid park ticket for that day.

Whatever day you choose to visit Disneyland Resort, make sure your first stop is to Guest Relations to pick up a free birthday button so Cast Members throughout the parks can wish you a very happy birthday! It doesn’t have to be his exact birthday to receive a button.

I hope this helps and let us know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
