I know that this question has probably been asked before, but I am planning to come to WDW 8/10-8/16 this year. What do you think the crowds will be like? We are staying at Pop, and I am excited that so many of you love it!

    Hi Kathleen!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  Pop Century is currently my favorite Disney Value Resort.  I think it has the best food court on property and, in my opinion, it has the best bus service.  However, I'm also looking forward to the new Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

If this summer is like recent past summers, that will be a typical crowded week in the summer.  It won't be crazy like during a holiday week, such as Thanksgiving or Christmas, but it will definitely be crowded.  If you want some tips on dealing with the crowds, I recommend visiting the independent website TouringPlans.com.  They are famous in the Disney fan community for producing a crowd calendar that predicts the crowd level of a particular park on a particular day.  They make recommendations on what parks to experience on a certain day and what parks to avoid.  Also, you should look at their touring plans, which are recommended step by step guides on what order to experience the attractions.  Their recommendations are based on a lot of math and years of data collection.  As an engineer, I'm a huge fan of their work.

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and write back if you have any more questions!
