Hello Stephanie!
Welcome to
planDisney! We're thrilled you sent your question our way. Helping with Disney vacation planning is what we do best, and I'd be delighted to chat with you about Florida Resident Annual Passes.
First of all, welcome to the Sunshine State! You’re now one of Mickey Mouse’s closest neighbors, which means you can enjoy some extra magical perks, including
special ticket pricing, resort stays, and more. All Annual Passes are sold individually, meaning that each person in your family will need their own pass; family or group passes do not exist. If you have four people in your family, you must purchase four Annual Passes.
To help with the cost of four Annual Passes, remember that as a Florida Resident, you can set up a payment program and, after an initial deposit, pay for your passes in monthly installments. You also have access to exclusive resident passes that are unavailable to the general public. The Disney Pixie Dust Pass, which allows you to visit all four theme parks on weekdays during non-peak travel periods, is a fantastic way to start your journey as a Passholder and currently costs only $439, plus tax. That's less than some multi-day tickets! You'll also enjoy
Passholder perks like 20% off select dining and merchandise and free standard theme park
parking. This is the pass my parents first purchased upon becoming Florida Residents. If you find yourselves missing weekend visits, you can upgrade to a Disney Pirate Pass at any time; this pass allows you to enter all four theme parks most days, only excluding peak travel weeks like Christmas and Easter. You can find a complete list of block-out dates on the
Annual Pass website.
I hope this has been helpful, Stephanie, and you find passes that work for you and your family. I love the flexibility of being an Annual Passholder, and I know you will, too. Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, and if there is anything we can do to help make future visits even more magical, don't hesitate to contact us again. You've got a friend in us!
Cheers,
Betsy
