    How do I know if I qualify for the Military discount on hotel stays and tickets? What information do I need to have to verify eligibility?

    Welcome back to planDisney, and first and foremost, thank you for your service!

    It sounds like you're planning a trip during the spooktacular season when Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be in full swing! If your family loves all things Halloween, this special ticketed event is a must-do. From rare character meet-and-greets to spellbinding stage shows, the night is packed with thrills and chills. And of course, Mickey’s Boo-To-You Parade is the highlight, keep an eye out for the gravediggers, they’re my absolute favorite!

    Now, let’s talk about some magical savings. In 2025, Walt Disney World is once again offering the Disney Military Salute Ticket for eligible service members. This fantastic discount is available for active or retired U.S. Military members (or their spouses), including the National Guard, Reservists, the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Space Force, and Commissioned Corps members of the Public Health Service and NOAA as well as the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. These special tickets allow you to enjoy 4, 5, or 6-day park visits at 2024 prices—what a magical deal. Just be sure to make theme park reservations, and take note of the block-out dates: April 13–April 26, 2025 and November 23–November 29, 2025. For hotel stays, I highly recommend checking out Shades of Green, a resort created specifically for military families, as well as any current Special Offers from Disney.
