I want to know if you can purchase tickets to watch the electrical parade

Hi there, Jo! Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you are just as excited as I am about the Main Street Electrical Parade once again floating down Main Street, U.S.A.! I can hear the first few electronic beats of the music in my head just thinking about it!

The parade is scheduled to perform twice nightly (on most nights), starting April 22nd. It looks like there are two showtimes for your arrival date, one at 8:30 p.m. and one at 10:45 p.m.! I do want to put on your radar that Disneyland Park will be closing at 8 p.m. on both May 3rd and May 4th for the Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite so there will not be performances of the parade those evenings. While viewing the parade is included with your theme park ticket, the Disneyland Resort has just announced a "Main Street Electrical Parade" dining package that includes lunch at the Plaza Inn and entrance to a reserved viewing area at the first parade showing in the evening. Valid theme park entry is required, of course, but well worth it for a great meal plus a great view! Reservations for dining packages will open up no sooner than April 14th and I can imagine they are going to go fast!

You are just going to love this 50th-anniversary celebration of such a nostalgic parade! Be on the lookout for a brand new finale float honoring "togetherness" and featuring friends from The Princess and the Frog, Encanto, Moana, and more! And hot off the press is the Disneyland Resort Foodie Guide for all the nighttime spectaculars returning next week! Prepare yourself for some very sweet treats and perhaps the cutest Light-Up sipper and popcorn bucket you ever did see!

Jo, my last piece of advice is to tune in to the brand new planDisney Podcast where my fellow, fabulous panelists give the best tips and tricks for visiting both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort! You can listen to the very first episode now about Spring Break... with the second one dropping very soon!
