Hey there, Bob. Clearly you've done your homework and you're off to a smart start. I'm happy to help fill in the blanks so that you have all the information you need to plan an absolutely unforgettable trip!
As you know, Disney is committed to reopening the theme parks in a way that prioritizes the
health and safety of both guests and Cast Members. That, of course, is where the reservation requirement comes in. It seems like you have a pretty clear understanding of that
reservation process so I won't go into detail on that. I think I'll be delivering good news when I tell you that once you have confirmed a reservation at one of the Walt Disney World theme parks, you don't need to worry about arriving (or leaving) at a specific time. Your theme park reservation is good at any point within the park's operating hours. You can even visit the park at opening to enjoy a few attractions, leave for an afternoon swim, and then return to the same park later in the day for dinner and more fun. Your reservation saves your spot!
And since I love being the bearer of great news, I'm happy to share a new resource for guests, like you, who are planning a magical trip this year. My planDisney panelist friends and I have collaborated to share
21 Tips for your 2021 Walt Disney World Resort vacation. We know that while the experience may be a little bit different this year, there are tons of opportunities for making memories and we want to equip you to create a one-of-a-kind trip. Adventure
is out there, Bob; get after it!
As you pursue your perfect itinerary, don't forget to stop by planDisney if we can help further. It's truly our pleasure!
