Hi Kim,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad that you stopped by again with another important question!
While you're exactly right that
strollers can be rented for more than one day at a time,
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) do not currently have a length of stay rental option and must be returned before leaving the location where they were rented. Now, if you're leaving the park for a mid-day rest, you can ask that your ECV be held for you, and you may pick it up when you return later that same day, but you'll need to rent a new ECV each day. Since ECVs are rented without reservations and solely on a first-come, first-served basis, I'd encourage you to arrive at the theme parks early each morning.
Of course, one other option for you is to rent an ECV through one of Disney's
Featured Providers. If you go that route, you'll be able to rent the ECV for the entire length of your stay and even keep it with you even when you leave the theme parks. Thankfully, Disney provides wonderful services for Guests with mobility challenges, and I'd encourage you to check out the
attraction access categories and transportation accessibility information to help plan your trip.
Please feel free to keep your great questions coming, Kim, as we're always here and happy to help. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
