Do I have to know what property at WDW I want to stay at before I begin savings towards my family vacation (hopefully next year after the pandemic has been resolved)?

    Hiya, Karen!

Welcome to planDisney! I know that Minnie and Mickey are so excited to see you next year! It’s going to be a magical vacation, I’m sure!

Starting a “Disney fund” is one of my favorite ways to start the planning process for my next adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth! It’s really smart to start tucking away money in preparation for your trip, that way you have plenty for snacks and souvenirs!

Though you cannot start putting money toward your account on the Walt Disney World website before you have selected a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, once you select where you would like to stay you’ll be able to make payments leading up to your vacation! If you want to know more about making a payment online, I recently helped a Guest navigate how to do this: Check it out here

It’s so exciting to begin planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any additional questions as you continue planning your magical stay, we’d love to help you again at planDisney, Karen! We’re just a dream away!
