Hi, I know this has probably been asked a million times before but we are planning our first visit to Disneyland in February. How many days would you recommend to visit both parks? We were thinking maybe 4 but would we be able to cover everything? Thanks

    Hi, Ruth!

A first visit to the Disneyland Resort is so exciting. Your February vacation will be here before you know it!

If you are planning on a 4 day ticket, I think you will find this to be plenty of time to explore all the magic of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. These 2 amazing theme parks are within walking distance of each other, so if you add the Park Hopper option, you can easily switch parks whenever you wish. Since you have 4 glorious park days, schedule in some mid-day breaks where you go back to your hotel room for a rest or plan some pool time where you can rest in the California sunshine!

When planning out your days, do not forget the Downtown Disney District. Here, you can shop, dine, or even see a movie. A park ticket is not required to visit this entertainment area.

To maximize your time when visiting the theme parks, you will want to utilize the complimentary Disney FASTPASS service so you can zoom through the lines. You might even want to look into Disney MaxPass, where you can reserve your FASTPASS times on the Disneyland app on your smartphone (fee applies per guest/per day for MaxPass). Watch this fun video that explains Disney MaxPass.

Wishing you a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort!
