I know from previous experiences that the snacks on the dining plan are limited to the value of $5. This year we have opted for the deluxe dining plan and I wondered if there were any restrictions on meals we can choose from on the restaurant menus etc?

    Greetings Kim!

The Deluxe Disney Dining Plan definitely expands your dining choices!  Your snack credit choices will remain the same (and item marked with the snack credit icon), but you will receive two snack credits per day. In addition, you are not restricted to using your meal credits for a certain meal type.  The three meals per day can be used at Quick-Service or Table Service locations.

At lunch and dinner, you will be able to choose an appetizer, entree, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage from the menu. Signature Dining and Dinner Show locations will still charge two meal credits per person.  There are certain appetizers which aren't eligible for the Dining Plans, including some of the more expensive sushi appetizers at California Grill.  Your server will let you know of any restrictions when you dine.

To see a list of participating restaurants, just click the link over to the Deluxe Dining Plan brochure.

The Deluxe Dining Plan really allows you to experience much more of what the world of Disney Dining has to offer.  Your bellies will definitely be full and happy!

I hope you enjoy dining in Deluxe Style when you're at Walt Disney World!

Please come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a magical day,
