Marnie Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I know that you can only pre-book at one park per day. If I only want 2 fastpasses @AK, and once I use them I go to HS, can I book a new fast pass there, or do I have to book and use 3 fast passes at AK before I can get another one for a new park?

    Hi Marnie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I love the flexibility and convenience of being able to make FastPass+ selections with my mobile phone and my handy dandy My Disney Experience mobile app. Part of that is because I typically like to “hop” between the Theme Parks, especially once I’ve used my first 3 advance FastPass+ selections in a given day.

I’m happy to say that, based on my experience, if you plan to hop to another Theme Park but you’ve only used 2 FastPass+ selections at the first Theme Park that you’re visiting, you should be able to make your third selection at another Theme Park, the day of your visit.

This means that you can absolutely make two advance FastPass+ selections at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park and then hop over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to use the 3rd that you manage to snag, based on what’s available when you go to make your selection that same day. Just make sure that you don’t have any other active FastPass+ selections somewhere else, and you should be good to go.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect Disney Day for your family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
