Do you know if there is a possible view of the illumination's fireworks from Art of Animation resort? What will I need to request when I make my reservation such as top floor, lake view.

Hi Sharon! The Art of Animation Resort is Disney's newest resort offering guests family suites or typical resort rooms. The location is not far from both Epcot and Hollywood Studios making it convenient in many ways.

You can see the tops of some fireworks at both Epcot and Hollywood Studios but your views will be minimal. It seems the best location for seeing some of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth will be behind the Lion King area near the lake. If you are hoping to get a view from your room you can request a higher floor but honestly even this is not a guarantee.

Illuminations is a very different kind of show. So much of it is done at water level so unless you are actually at Epcot you will not appreciate what is happening. The music is also a very important part of the show and you cannot hear this unless it is unusually windy and blowing in your direction. At best you would see the occasional bursts that go high but I am not sure this is worth worrying about a specific room location. I would pick the area at the resort that you would enjoy most for its location to the pool and food court.

Hollywood Studios also has a firework show each night now and you might be able to spot some of this show from the resort. Since this is just a couple of weeks old I have not heard if much is visible or not from the resorts.
