    Do you know if Port Orleans French Quarter still offers the Beignet Run?

    Hiya Kristy,

    Welcome to planDisney! Did someone say beignets?! The Princess and Frog is one of my favorite Disney movies, so I was excited when I stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter last visit. I love all the small nods to my favorite bayou Princess, and those piping hot “man-catching” beignets are fantastic!

    While I am definitely a reluctant runner, I think I could pretend to love running long enough to do a Beignet Dash! Although I’ve heard whispers about this race, I confirmed with Disney’s Port Orleans – French that the Beignet Dash has not officially returned yet. The best way to find out if it is taking place during your visit is to ask a Cast Member at the front desk; they can provide you with details on registration and a list of any other recreational activities occurring during your stay.

    I wish I could give your happy news, but as many of our favorites are returning to Walt Disney World Resort (have you seen the news about Fantasmic), I’m sure resort fun runs are sure to follow.
