Hello Sandra!
It is a pleasure to welcome a fellow Brazilian to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I can see that you are planning in advance and soon you will be able to make dining reservations, as they are available 180 days in advance. This is especially important if you have a
Guest in your party with special dietary needs.
Most table-service restaurants and quick-service locations can accommodate several common food allergies, like soy. When you make reservations, please indicate the soy allergy at the time of booking. You can do so for online reservations or over the phone at +1 (407) 939-3463. In addition, always inform your server of any restrictions upon arriving at your dining location, and you can also request to talk to the chef. Several quick-service locations offer allergy friendly menus. Please note that Cast Members will always do their best to accommodate requests, but sometimes it might not be possible.
I strongly advise you to contact
Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com for allergy related questions and requests. They will be able to clarify specific questions about the oil used to prepare popcorn. A member of my family has food allergies, and whenever we travel together we always prefer to buy pre-packaged products because usually all ingredients are listed. There are several locations at the Walt Disney World Resort that sell pre-packaged popcorn, so you can check the label in the back to see if soy was used or if the product was made in a facility that processes soy. Always check and double-check.
I hope this helps you while planning, Sandra. Please stop by the
Disney Parks Moms Panel in Portuguese next time. It will be great to answer your questions in Portuguese.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
