Hiya, Diana!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for stopping by with your question. Diana, as a fur-mom to three family pets, including two cats (who are Siamese, if you please) and a rescue dog who channels her inner Goofy, I really appreciate your question. While our feline friends remain home with our cat-sitter when we travel, we love to bring our favorite pal on family trips.
At this time, there are four Walt Disney World Resorts that are furry-friendly. They include:
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- T
he Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort – A Disney Vacation Club ResortWhile The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are the only
DVC property on the list, you can certainly use Disney Vacation Club Points for a
Disney Collection Exchange if you're an eligible Disney Vacation Club Member to stay at one of these other Disney Resorts.
Unfortunately, we are unaware at this time if Disney plans to expand the list of
pet-friendly Resorts. However, I always recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. This is the best source for all new announcements coming from the "big cheese" - Mickey.
I hope this helps you, Diana, and you can enjoy the vacation of your dreams with your four-legged family member at one of these Disney properties. If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back here to see us, and we will be so happy to help you.
Magically Yours,
Keri
