I want to know more about planning a vacation to Disney World in Feb-March 2018, two girls ages 6 and 8. What would be the top recommended attractions and how do I start planning this trip? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated-Thanks :-)

    Hi Kim,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have it on good authority that Mickey and Minnie Mouse are tickled that you are bringing your girls to visit them at the Walt Disney World Resort! With your trip being about a year in advance, you have time to plan.

My first tip is to get a sense of how much the trip will cost. To do so, you need to decide how many nights to stay and which type of Resort Hotel you would prefer. I suggest that you book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package that includes theme park tickets. My family also always purchases a Dining Plan.

Once you select your vacation package and pay your deposit, you secure your reservation. On day 180 prior to your trip, you can make Dining Reservations. We love the Character Meals, especially Chef Mickey's, the Crystal Palace, Cinderella's Royal Table, and 1900 Park Fare.

And, here is the real dance worthy news. At 60 days prior to your trip, you can use Fast Pass+ to pre-book ride times for up to three rides per day. For your girls, I suggest Tomorrowland Speedway, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Princess Fairytale Hall, Toy Story Mania!, Frozen Ever After, Kilimanjaro Safaris, and The Festival of the Lion King. I also suggest Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple. We need new Jedi recruits to maintain peace in the Galaxy!

Magical planning leads to magical memories!
