Mican from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Do we know if the pirate night is now being offered on three night Disney cruises? I saw a post from Feb 2022, that it was not. We are leaving out of San Diego on the Wonder, during the Halloween on the High Seas event. Thank you!

Ahoy there, Mican! Thanks for dropping me a line here at planDisney!

I see you've been searching for the answer to this question, and I'd be happy to clear things up for you as you're only a few weeks away from your Halloween on the High Seas itinerary on the Disney Wonder! Consider me not only jealous that you'll be celebrating all things spooky, and not-so-scary, but also because you'll be on my favorite ship!

Just don't tell the Disney Wish...

Anyway, the post you saw from February was likely during a time when more health and safety measures were in effect aboard. Earlier this year, large deck parties were temporarily placed on hold to enable more social distancing, but I'm glad to let you know that Pirate Night and its celebrations have returned, but may vary depending on your specific itinerary.

I do believe I have a friend here who may have a bit of inside information, however:

ARGH, Mican! By the powers, we be scheduled to have run o' the ship one evening of your voyage - though we be leaving yer galley alone to enjoy yer standard rotational dining experience. Now, I may not care fer the captain keepin' our whereabouts out in the open on Pirate Night, but ye be warned! Expect pyrotechnics and more when we roll out the long nines and take control!  Now, as the code be outlined, these activities be more what you would call guidelines than actual rules, so ye best be checkin' that newfangled Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the latest info once yer crew be aboard!

Allow me to translate: it looks like you'll have fireworks and a pirate celebration on your itinerary, but you'll not have the pirate-themed menu so you won't miss out on either Animator's Palate, Tiana's Place, or Triton's original menus. Also, as entertainment is subject to change, be sure to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator for any changes that may happen as a result of your Halloween-themed activities!

I hope that helps you set a course for an amazing adventure, Mican! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as you finish planning please drop another message in a bottle for me here at planDisney!

Watch out for ghost ships, and don't forget your costumes!
