I know that I have to pay for the entire meal at the time of booking an ADR at Cinderella Royal Table. If I decide to add the Dining Plan at a later date, will I be refunded the cost of the meal when I add the plan, or not until I use the plan to pay?

    Hi Timothy!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a question for us. I'm happy to help. It sounds like you are planning an awesome Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and I'm sure you are getting excited. There's definitely no better place to make magical memories with your family!

Dining atop Cinderella Castle at Cinderella's Royal Table is the perfect setting to meet all of your favorite Disney princesses, so I'm glad that you're planning to make that part of your upcoming trip. Reservations do require payment in full at the time of booking, but you can get a refund if you decide to add a Dining Plan later. If you call to do that, just ask the Cast Member to make that change to your dining reservation so that you can be refunded that money. Or you can just let your server know that you'll be using your Dining Plan credits instead, and they will make sure to refund your original payment then. Either way, it can definitely be done! Just keep in mind that those reservations do fill up quickly, so you'll want to make sure and book as early as possible.

I sure hope this helps with your planning and if we can be of any more assistance, please just let us know. Have a wonderful trip and a magical day!
