Aloha Dana! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show offers a truly unique experience in both it's
all-you-care-to-enjoy fare and Polynesian entertainment. With my daughter having a severe case of Moana-fever, I'm hoping a future Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show experience will provide a real-life taste of the South Pacific, literally and figuratively.
The
2017 Disney Dining Plan can be used for booking category 2 or 3 level seating for Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show and Mickey's Backyard Barbecue or Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. These bookings require the use of 2 dining plan credits per person and Advanced Dining Reservations are required (no walk-ups). The only Dinner Show that can be redeemed for Category 1 seating is the 8:30 p.m. seating for Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue pending availability.
The cost of Category 2 and 3 level seating for Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is $74 and $66 for adults and $44 and $39 for children ages 3-9, respectively (prices include tax and gratuity). Requiring 2 credits on the Disney Dining Plan means that Category 2 seating values each credit at $37 per credit and category 3 seating values each credit at $33 per credit. Not taking into consideration any other variable except for value, the Category 2 is still a good value per credit while Category 3 is a little undervalued, in my opinion.
Whatever you decide, book your
Advanced Dining Reservations early enough to ensure a Category 2 level seating (180 days in advance).
Bon Appétit!
