Hiya, Patricia! Welcome to planDisney!
You’ll be happy to hear that with date-based Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets, you no longer need to make Theme Park reservations in advance. As long as you have your tickets, you and your family can head to the park of your choice each day during your trip. While it's rare, parks can reach capacity, particularly on major holidays later in the morning or afternoon. So, it's always a good idea to take advantage of the
Early Theme Park Entry (for Guests staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel) to ensure you can stick to your plans.
To elaborate more, the specific type of ticket you purchased will determine your access to the parks. For example, a 4-Day 1 Park Per Day Ticket will allow you to visit any of the four theme parks, one per day, over seven days. No rule or stipulation says which parks you have to visit and when. If you add the Park Hopper Option to your 4-Day Park Ticket, you will be allowed to visit any of the four theme parks and have the ability to visit multiple parks on the same day.
There are currently two tickets being offered on the
Specials, Deals & Discounts page that are great savings but are less flexible. The Special 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket allows entry to Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT—one park per day, each being visited only once during the ticket's validity. Alternatively, the 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket offers admission to each theme park—Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom—once, with one park per day. Neither of these tickets requires a reservation or advance notice to Disney about which park you plan to visit.
