We know there are parking fees at resorts but heard they are waived if you have a valid disability tag. Is this true? My partner has medical issues and a disability tag on his car. Rather than flying (using Disney transport) we are thinking of driving.

    Welcome back, Beata!

Thank you for once again bringing a question to us here at planDisney!

You are correct! I checked the Services for Guests with Disabilities at Disney Resort Hotels webpage. And, it states that standard parking at Disney Resort hotels is complimentary for any Guest with a valid disability parking permit and a current room or dining reservation at that particular resort.

But did you know that the Walt Disney World Resort provides other excellent Services for Guests with Disabilities as well? If your partner is unable to wait in a conventional queue due to medical issues, I encourage you to look into the Disability Access Service Card (DAS). This service provides guests with a return time for attractions, so they don’t have to wait in the standard line. If a Cast Member signs your partner up for DAS, you’ll be able to schedule return times at the various Guest Relations locations throughout the park.

I hope this has been helpful to you. Please stop by planDisney with more questions in the future! We’re all EARS!
