I know the park is reserving the parks for California residents only, but are Disney Vacation Club members with reservations for the Grand Californian that are not California residents, going to be able to get tickets if they already have reservations.

Hello James and from one Disney Vacation Club Member to another, let me also say, "welcome home!"

James, I think the entire Disney Vacation Club Member community was grinning from ear to EAR when the Disney Parks Blog announcement was made that not only stated reservations for The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa would be available beginning May 2nd but that the Disneyland Resort would "finally be opening up the gates."

James, unfortunately due to the state of California's regulations and the guidelines issued by the California Department of Public Health, at this time only California residents will be able to enter Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure Park, regardless of any Disney Vacation Club reservations. James, as a Pennsylvanian and Disney Vacation Club Member who has been yearning for a trip to Walt's original park, I understand the disappointment this brings. While there is NO official announcement to share, I'm hopeful that as the parks reopen with enhanced health and safety measures, we see out-of-state visitors welcomed soon. I encourage you to keep a close watch on the Disney Parks Blog as Magical announcements tend to pop up there first.

James, thanks for stopping by planDisney and please come on back with any additional questions. Whenever you next are able to visit the Disneyland Resort, I hope it's everything dreams are made of,
