I know that park passes have three classes, Theme Park Ticket Guests, Resort Guests, and Annual Passholders. Passes allocated different for each class. As an Annual Pass Holder which class am I in when I stay at Fort Wilderness? Resort Guest or Passholder?

    Hi Paul,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with another great vacation planning question.  Fort Wilderness is a breathtaking Resort residing within a 750 acre cypress and pine forest.  Whether you are staying at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort or at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, your stay will evoke the feeling like you are living in the great American frontier of times long ago.

First, I want to say that I'm impressed you are already familiar with the Disney Park Pass System which was instituted as part of the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World to manage theme park attendance and promote physical distancing. You are a star pupil and are at the front of the vacation planning class!  I have good news about whether you are considered an Annual Pass holder or a Disney Resort Guest ~ you're both!  As a Disney Resort Guest you are able to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for each day of your Disney Resort stay.  Additionally, as an Annual Passholder you may have up to 3 other Disney Park Pass reservations (on other days) on a rolling basis.  Since there are several types of Annual Passes, you may want to check the Annual Pass Admissions & Blockout Dates Calendar so you can ensure your Annual Pass type is valid for admission on the days you want to visit prior to making a reservation.  There are tabs above the calendar for you to select your Annual Pass type and then the calendar will display your admission availability.

Once you confirm your Annual Pass is valid for admission during your Disney Resort hotel reservation time period then you are all set to make your Disney Park Pass reservation for your upcoming Disney Resort hotel stay.  Here is a handy dandy Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar for you to see which parks are open for your vacation dates.  For the dates in which you have a Disney Resort hotel reservation then you should select the tab for "Disney Resort Guests".  For any other dates outside of your Disney Resort hotel reservation you should change the tab selection to "Annual Pass" to view availability.

I hope this answers your question and assists you with your upcoming vacation.  If you have any further questions or need clarification please come back and visit us again, we are always happy to help you plan your next Magical adventure!
