Hey there, Juliet! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with such great questions!
Thanksgiving is one of my very favorite times to visit Walt Disney World. The weather is usually mild and comfortable, and with the holiday festivities in full swing, there just seems to be extra magic in the air. I'm also planning a visit this Thanksgiving, and I'm thrilled that we can plan our pixie-dusted adventures together!
Unfortunately, we do not know the park hours for November yet. Typically, park hours are released 60 days in advance, so as your vacation approaches, just keep an eye on the
Hours & Events Calendar on the Walt Disney World website or My Disney Experience app. I'll be anxiously awaiting their release with you!
If you're anything like me, food is one of the most important parts of a Disney vacation (or any vacation for that matter). Especially at Thanksgiving! And while we don't yet have confirmed menus for this year, in my experience, several of the Table Service and Quick Service restaurants around Walt Disney World offer special menus on Thanksgiving Day.
Last Thanksgiving, I noticed that several
Quick-Service dining locations, especially at the Resort Hotels, offered a traditional Thanksgiving plate on Thanksgiving Day. And I have seen quite a few Table Service restaurants, such as Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge, Steakhouse 71 at the Contemporary and even Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge, offer traditional Thanksgiving fare on Thanksgiving Day.
At Magic Kingdom, I recommend making a dining reservation at
Liberty Tree Tavern or
The Diamond Horseshoe, as these restaurants serve delicious Thanksgiving-style dishes year-round. And while the Thanksgiving Day offerings are not necessarily different from their regular fantastic menu, my family and I enjoyed one of our very favorite Thanksgiving meals at
The Crystal Palace with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore. Since it's a buffet, we all gave thanks in our own way with our own feast!
At Animal Kingdom, while we don't yet know if any restaurants will offer Thanksgiving fare, my family and I have always really enjoyed
Tusker House. This is one of our very favorite buffets and character meals, and while the incredible food has African flavors, there are carving stations with meats (including turkey!), and we have even enjoyed some fall-inspired pumpkin desserts. Perfect for a Thanksgiving feast! I recommend keeping a close eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any information on feasts and treats as soon as it drops.
Juliet, speaking of delicious holiday food, don't forget to visit the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays! It kicks off November 28, 2025, and is the best way to taste your way into the holiday spirit.
I hope this helps, Juliet, and I'll see you in the parks! Have the merriest time, and feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
Stay merry and bright,
Mandy
